Young Playground Leaders Conference March 2008
This event was part of a Lottery Funded project to increase activity levels in children during breaktimes. Judith
McMahon has trained a large number for Meal Time Assistants who are working in schools during break times and she has also
been involved in training groups of children to be young leaders and to lead activities for young children in their schools.
Our
conference was to celebrate the achievements of the young leaders and give them the chance to share ideas with other leaders
from different schools. They also learnt some new games and were given some new equipment and tee shirts to take
back to school.
