Partnership Development Manager: Catherine Kilburn I have been the PDM at South Dartmoor for 3 years. I moved to Devon to take up this post from having been a PDM in Bristol
for 3 years. There is obviously a huge contrast between the 2 areas, and each faces different challenges. The rural nature
and size of the partnership in Devon brings particular issues that I never had to tackle in Bristol but the schools themselves
are very different places.
I am lucky to work with a very dedicated team in Devon from the staff at SDCC, all the SSCo's and PLT's who
enable me to move the partnership forward.
This next year will be very exciting and I am looking forward to seeing our plans in practice.

I joined the South Dartmoor School Sport Partnership four years ago having spent ten years teaching in a Special School.
As you can imagine it has been a totally different experience for me but one which I have throughly enjoyed. Watching
children, of all ages and abilities, being involved in physical activities and having fun is what is so rewarding with this
job.
